Emily Irene VanCamp who initially set out to become professional dancer was drawn in acting after visiting her sister Katie at the filming location of the film Ladies Room. While learning to act she was also offered an appearance on a TV show in Canada. A few of the television shows she starred in include Are You afraid of the Dark? Radio Active and Dice. VanCamp had a huge career break after he was tapped to play regular Sam Dolan in WB's horror thriller Glory Days. The show was cancelled after 9 episodes and despite receiving favorable ratings.
