Emily Swallow

 American actor Emily Swallow was born December 18th, 1979. She is best known for her roles in the role of Kim Fischer on The Mentalist and as Amara / the Darkness in the eleventh season of Supernatural. She also played the Armorer in Star Wars' live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily played one small part in The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born on December 18 1979, in Washington, D.C. Her family was raised in Sterling, Virginia, as in Jacksonville, Florida. Swallow started acting in Stanton College Preparatory School. She also took part in professional and amateur theatre productions. Swallow graduated from the Stanton College Preparatory School in the city of Jacksonville, in 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies. She continued to study to earn an MFA in Acting at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In 2008 she made her film debut in The Lucky Ones, a military drama. She was a part of the world premiere of Donald Margulies' play The Country House at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse alongside Mark Rylance in Louis Jenkins in the play Nice Fish at the Guthrie Theatre, and also in John Patrick Shanley's musical Romantic Poetry at Manhattan Theater Club. [citation needed] In 2010 she was awarded the Falstaff Award as best female actor for her performance in The Taming of the Shrew. She also starred alongside Jac Huberman in Jac N Swallow's musical romance Poetry at the Manhattan Theatre Club. The show revolves around their hilarious mishaps when they face diverse life circumstances.
